A clock from Hagerstown, Maryland signed on the seatboard, possibly Jacob Dill. Jr, 1799 and inside the case are pencil inscriptions from the Heyser family of Hagerstown. e clock has a nearly identical form and inlays to a MESDA recorded clock from Hagerstown by John Reynolds. e ve-dial face displays the phases of the moon, the seconds, minutes, hours, day of the week, month of the year and phase of the moon. e mahogany case has lively pictorial inlays including an eagle and shell surrounded by fans, urns with vines, bell owers, inlaid rosettes and the original inlaid nial.
